Training Scholarship
HIA Build Your Future has introduced HIA Training Scholarships to help young people achieve their training goals, reach their full potential, and meet their professional development objectives. HIA will award full and partial training scholarships across Australia to an aggregate value of $200,000. Modern Building and Construction Award Rates - Now Available
The transitional rates which apply from 1 July 2010 are now available. Please contact your HIA Workplace Adviser on 1300 650 620.
- minimum wages and piecework rates;
- casual or part - time loadings;
- Saturday, Sunday, public holiday, evening or other penalties;
- shift allowances/penalties.
The difference between the pre-modern and modern award wages and conditions will be phased in over five annual instalments (20% instalment every 12 months until 2014).
