We go to the voting poles this Saturday, armed with the media clips, radio grabs, television images and internet pieces that actually (somehow) stick in our minds and we take along our personal views and preferences. To read more Click here

HIA Infrastructure Summit Pave Way for Action
Last week HIA held an Urban Infrastructure Summit in Sydney that provided an ideal platform to highlight key infrastructure issues and their negative impact on housing supply and affordability.
Pleasingly, both ACT and NSW Government representatives were in attendance to hear about alternative funding models to that of up-front infrastructure charging that is becoming prevalent in Australia.
At the conclusion of the Summit HIA outlined an Action Agenda, highlighting the crucial need for Federal involvement.

HIA Members Benefit from our License Experience
Mike (not real name) wanted to upgrade his builder's license from single storey residential. After meeting with HIA staff, Mike decided to do some training with HIA. He did the Certificate IV & Timber Framing Code Course. Mike then came in for a pre-license interview with HIA Building Services.
Armed with the training certificates and the necessary knowledge, Mike has JUST completed his interview with OCBA and walked out with a 3 storey residential and single storey commercial and industrial license.
Mike has a smile from ear to ear, thanks to the help and service he received from HIA.
Remember ! We are here to help you as a Member with any licensing issues.
