HIA Training in Bunbury
2012 is going to be a big year for HIA Training Services in Bunbury, with 15 courses scheduled to be conducted throughout the year. HIA Stationery - Complete Home Owner's Manual
The HIA Complete Home Owner's Manual & Handover Checklist has been developed by the HIA for new home and renovation builders to present at handover of projects to their clients. The manual educates owner's on their duty of care and maintenance requirements beyond the responsibilities of the builder. Click here for an order form.

House Energy Ratings Software Versions from 2012
The building Code of Australia (BCA) includes house energy rating software as Deemed to Satisfy solution for energy efficiency. From the 1st of May 2012, software tools used for this purpose must be accredited under the Nationwide Hose Energy rating Scheme (NatHERS). more

Reintroduction of Trade Certificates
With immediate effect, the Department of Training and Workforce Development will issue a trade certificate to any person who has successfully completed a qualification under an apprenticeship contract. This decision is retrospective and the Department will notify tradespeople who completed their apprenticeship during the period the trade certificate was not issued.

MSA Commences Review and Redevelopment of the LMF02 Furnishing Training Package
A research project undertaken by MSA during 2010-2011 identified a clear need for a full review of the Furnishing Training Package, with the report recommending that the review include consideration of how occupations and jobs have changed as well as recognising that many skills are used and applied across a range of jobs and industry sectors more
